In this film for VIVO, we were asked to enhance Tarzan´s break in through the window, since the actor could be harmed if there were even fake glass in the window.
Our compositor friends used 3 different takes from the window to create the final composite, while I created all the simulations.
For the glass, bullet was used with a voronoi pattern with some tweaks.
For the branches and vine sims, FEM was used.
For the leaves, a cloth solver was used.
The elements were exported as alembic files and rendered in arnold.
